2008...Notwithstanding restrictions by health problems still a good year for the pigeon loft Antoine Jacops.
This year was chosen to play alone in Hafo Turnhout, I can put in the pigeons in the lokal club Vorselaar about 1 km of my
loft. Hafo Turnhout has 13 diffrent clubs spread over the Kempen (the east of Antwerp)where we can basket ting the pigeons
for flights from 300km to 400 km every week.
The location of my loft is extremely west with one of the most shortest distances what with the mostly west wind of this year
not hopeful was.
Half Mars the pigeon vaccinated against paramixo by Dr.Marien and half April 5 days flagyl in drinking water for
canser.I repieted that half June for 3 day's.In the middle of season they become 3 days after one viamines Supradine,that was
all for hole the racing saison.
The widowers train twice a day 1 hour around the loft in the morning around 9.30 am and around 5 pm.The day from basket ting
they staying inside the hole day.
For bringing the pigeons or the clock to the club, I had fortunately the help of my wife Maria and a few friends since a
I've prohibition to drive a vehicle.
The race season got a wonderful start in May with hot summer weather and head wind the first two races.The third flight
from Dourdan was a catastrove with a very bad flight and the necessary loses, the two best old pigeons were lost and the
third came four days later and was no longer raced. That time I had several investigations in the hospital undergone
with not the best results for my. I decided than to put in all my energy in the yearligs there they won every week very
good results and it was to hard for my to take care of all the pigeons.
With a wonderful result : FIRST CHAMPION YEARLINGS and 2nd , 7th ,8th and 10th ACE PIGEON HAFO TURNHOUT 2008 and
6th GENERAL CHAMPION HAFO TURNHOUT 2008.
All the yearlings flew 11 races from 13 flights each yearling is twice stayed at home, because the weather forecasts every
week were poor and also because of my poor health,even more the motivation is no more so hight.
Because I no vehicle may drive are also no playing national flight both old and young deployed in 2008 an that for the first time
in more as 20 years,even that is sometimes haevy for my.
I can say that keeping all simpel way pigeons also play compatible with good results if there is sufficient quality
is present.
